What is Indonesia?

Indonesia is an agricultural country. Indonesia is the largest archipelago in the world that lies on the equator along the 3,200-mile (5,120 Km²) and consists of 13.667 large and small islands. Indonesian name comes from the Greek, Indo which means Indoa and Nesia which means islands. Indonesia is also the fourth largest population in the world with a population that is derived from the Malay race and Polynesia, and consists of 300 tribes and branches that each tribe has its own tradition.

Geographical position of Indonesia is the position of a place or country based on real position on the earth  surface . And geographical position of Indonesia are between two continent ( Asia and  Australia ) and two ocean  ( pacific and Indian ocean ).


 Astronomical position of Indonesia are  6º LN 11º LS and 141º EL 141º EL.
